Bakersfield, CA – When the green flag drops on the Spears Modified Series in 2024, the state of Utah will be represented by Zach Webster in the Fytron Software LLC 60 presented by LIUNA” at ALL AMERICAN SPEEDWAY – ROSEVILLE CA. The March 23rd event will be the 18th season opener for the series and the sixth under the banner of the Spears Modified Series. Webster will make his first trip to the 1/3-mile at Roseville, CA from his home in West Valley City, UT.
Webster will make only his fifth start in the series after competing under the Lucas Oil Modified Series banner between 2012 to 2018. His best finish was a 17th at the now defunct Rocky Mountain Raceway (UT) in 2018. In other touring series Modified action he had three victories in the Speed Tour Modified Series. Those wins were compiled over 32 starts, where he also had 25 top-five and 30 top-10 finishes.
Webster calls Magic Valley Speedway in Twin Falls, ID his home track. He has also competed at Meridian Speedway, racing at both facilities over the last five seasons. In 2019, Webster was the NASCAR Advanced Auto Parts Weekly Racing Series State of Idaho champion, as well as the National Rookie-of-the-Year. He was the series runner-up in 2020. From 2019 to 2022 Webster scored 18 feature wins within the NASCAR regional window. He scored the Magic Valley Speedway Track championship in 2022 and was runner-up in 2023, earning five victories in the latter season.
Webster will now turn his attention to the Spears Modified Series and All American Speedway. He is looking forward to the challenge the new facility will bring, along with the competition he will face.
“I’m looking forward and very excited to attend this race at AAS”, Webster expressed. “This will be my first time visiting the speedway, and I love new challenges. I’ve raced with the series before, when they were Lucas Oil Modifieds, but I have not run with the Spears Modified Series. I’m ready to compete with some of the best Modified drivers on the West Coast like Travis Thirkettle, Eddie Secord, Andrew Anderson, Stephen Brucker, Holly Clark, Kevin Vossen, Dave Arce, and Jimmy Dickerson!”
Webster is grateful for the opportunity to compete in the “Fytron Software 60 presented by LIUNA” at All American Speedway, and to his partners who make it possible.
“I would like to give a special thanks to my sponsors; Idaho Powder Coating & Sandblasting, Advanced Maintenance, Kym Gunnell Trucking, Ramblin Roads Family Restaurant, Hunter Machine, STR, Subway, and Checkmark Home Inspection. Let’s go Racing!”
The Spears Modified Series teams will race for a $2,000 winner’s purse in the season opener. It will be event number one for the series, after the “All-Star Showdown” was postponed at Irwindale Speedway. The series will visit five different facilities in 2024 and will conclude their season at Kevin Harvick’s Kern County Raceway on October 26th.
