Bakersfield, CA (March 10, 2022) – The 7^th Annual Winter Showdown is set for April 2^nd at Kern County Raceway.  The event will feature the SPEARS (SRL) Southwest Tour Series, the SPEARS Pro Late Model Series presented by SPS and the SPEARS Modified Series presented by Lucas Oil.

A unique format for all three series will feature qualifying, followed by qualifying heats to set the line ups prior to the main events.  The SPEARS Pro Late Models and Modifieds will compete for 60 laps each in their respective main event, with the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series competing for 100 laps.

The SPEARS Southwest Tour Series will compete for a $10,000 pay day for the winner.

The race is sponsored by Golden State Peterbilt and the American Trucking Industry will be honored at the event.

Reservations are now being taken for VIP Suites, Trackside RV Spaces and Tail Gate locations for the Winter Showdown.

General Admission tickets will go on sale on race day at 4pm at the Kern County Raceway Box Office, Grandstand tickets are $25, Kids ages 10-6 $10, 5 and under free. No parking fee or general camping fee for the weekend.
