Surprise, AZ racer Justin Grote

Surprise, AZ racer Justin Grote will make his first start in the Spears Modified Series next weekend in the “Spears Modified Series presented by MAVTV 75” at Tucson Speedway. Grote is eighth in the Tucson championship standings with three top-10’s in three events. Grote is in his second season of racing a big car after participating in two Modified events in 2022. Grote is racing in honor of his late sister Makayla, who was tragically killed in 2017. His car number and paint scheme are in honor of her. She raced in the Modified Division at both Colorado National Speedway and Tucson Speedway at the time of her passing. The Shadow Ridge High School graduate will look for his first top-five at Tucson.
