Brucker Scores First Career SPEARS Modified Series Win

Nineteen year old Stephen Brucker powered to his first career series win Saturday night at Irwindale Speedway for the “FYTRON Software 60 presented by LiUNA”.  The Alpine, California teenager held off Las Vegas, Nevada’s Sam Jacks at the Southern California 1/3 mile.  Brucker, who dominated most of the race, had to hold off Jacks on three separate restarts in the closing laps to secure the win.  It was a good day all around for the #2 pilot as he led final practice earlier in the day and just missed the RaceCals Fast Time by 0.020 seconds behind Jeff Longman.
