“All-Star Showdown” A Few Reminders

1. ENTRY FORM – With the Entry Form not being released until last week, you can get Pre-entry pricing for the race by simply  e-mailing the series if you are racing. You can take care of your entry fee at the SRL Trailer on Friday.

2. RACE PROCEDURES – Here is the link for the SRL Race Procedures for the SPEARS Southwest Tour Series, SPEARS SRL Pro Late Model Series and Spears Manufacturing Modified Series.

1. Here are some specifics procedures for this weekend:
   1. Super Late Model:
      1. Break at or around lap 75 (Race distance is 125 laps) – At the break, teams will have 7 minutes to make adjustments & fuel the car.Car may only be jacked up one side at a time (jack stand mandatory if anyone goes under the car), and team must have a manned fire extinguisher while fueling the car. Maximum 5 crew members to service the car.
      2. There will be a Competition Yellow after 40 laps of consecutive Green flag racing, but not within the final 25 laps of the race.
   2. Pro Late Model:
      1. Race Distance is 75 laps – There will be a Competition Yellow after 40 laps of consecutive Green flag racing, but not within the final 25.

• Modifieds:
  1. Race Distance is 60 laps – There will be a Competition Yellow after 30 laps of consecutive Green flag racing, but not within the final 25.

3. Reminder: NEW SRL RADIO FREQUENCY – All SRL race divisions from this point forward, must scan 2000.  Frank’s Radio will be on site to take care of anyone who needs their radios changed on race weekend.
   461. SPOTTERS – Spotters must be utilized at all times your car is on track. The spotter must monitor race control with a scanner or stand-alone radio at 2000.  Spotter’s location for the Main Events will be on top of the Irwindale press box tower.
4. OPEN PRACTICE – You may reserve to test at Irwindale Speedway for Thursday, May 16^th – the track is hot from 5pm to 9pm on Thursday. If you coming in to practice on Thursday, call the track at competitors@irwindalespeedway.com or 626-358-1100. There are no SRL testing restriction in place before May 17th,   

5. NOTE – THURSDAY OPEN PRACTICE – The Drag Strip is operating on Thursday, SRL cars will enter and exit the oval at Turn 1.

6. TRUCK WASH ON SITE – “Nothing But the Best” detailing will be on site Friday morning to wash ‘Team Rigs’, if you’re interested call to make your appointment at 323-690-7588.
