Jace Hansen Makes First Spears Modified Series Start at Colorado National Speedway

Bakersfield, CA – Two-time Spears SRL Southwest Tour Series winner Jace Hansen will trade in his fenders for an Open Wheel Modified, as the Spears Modified Series visits @Colorado National Speedway (CO) for the “AAA Plumbing Heating and Electric Service 75 presented by Sangers Cycles” on August 17th. It will be Hansen’s first start in the series. The winner of Saturday night’s tilt will receive $5,000, in Round #3 of the season series.
Hansen was the winner the last time the SRL visited Colorado, grabbing a $10,000 win in his Super Late Model. Hansen has already visited Victory Lane in his Modified at CNS in 2024. He is coming off his second win of the season last weekend. He sits eighth in the championship standings, despite starting only three of the five feature events. His CNS record includes 11 Super Late Model victories including his SRL win and a “Colorado Challenge Cup” victory. He was a two-time championship runner-up in that division as well as a Modified champion in 2009, and a Legends champion in 2008.
The Spears Modified Series will visit CNS on August 17th for the “AAA Plumbing Heating and Electric Service 75 presented by Sangers Cycles”. It will pay $5,000-to-win, as the inaugural visit for the series. Aaron McMorran leads the championship standings with Kyle Jacks, Holly Clark, Scott Winters, and Kevin Vossen the top-five.
