THIRKETTLE POCKETS $5,000 WITH ALL-STAR SHOWDOWN WIN
Travis Thirkettle withstood a closing Jeremy Dossat the 2/3rds mark of the race, to win the Spears Manufacturing 75 presented by FLUIDYNE High Performance“, taking home a cool $5,000 for his effort. Doss had closed on Thirkettle, but the two made contact off of turn 4, with Doss into the outside wall. Doss recovered, but fell to third at the end, behind Dylan Cappello. The race ran 75 consecutive green flag laps on “Sunrise Ford All-Star Showdown weekend presented by the West Coast Stock Car Hall of Fame” at Irwindale Speedway.
